Durga Puja gives everyone a reason to celebrate, it’s an occasion for rejuvenation and reunion and a celebration of our customary culture and customs. While most of the people keep fast for the entire nine to ten days, but the last four days called Saptami, Ashtami, Navami, and Dashami are celebrated with much jollity and splendor.
It is almost a tradition to buy new clothes and enjoy with friends and relatives. To women and girls, Durga puja means draping a saree and worshipping the Goddes Durga wholeheartedly. Every woman wears their best traditional wear mostly sarees on the auspicious day of Ashtami. As Indian women love to wear traditional and designer sarees to show their charm, shopping has become the most important thing to do before Puja. Be it a teenage girl or an aged lady everyone start their shopping at least one month before the puja.
